Editing and mathematics are similar in the way of taking one variable and combining it with another variable and getting an outcome that makes sense. When it comes to certain images and video and you combine that with rhythm whether that be a song or the flow of a conversation, there is a correct outcome that makes sense. There can be different methods to go about receiving this result, but ultimately, there is a correct one. Finding it can be tedious, which is why many people shy away from editing (or math). But I’ve always been drawn to puzzles, mysteries, and strategy games—challenges that require patience and problem-solving. That same passion drives my editing. I take pride in the time and focus I bring to every project, working as long as it takes to produce something that truly works.
